No it will not work with the EcoBoost, I think what you're experiencing is the Lag of the turbo's, it takes at least a second for them to spin up.

Those turbos really don't lag, they're small and efficient. Its the drive by wire. Even the canned SCT tune is an improvement for improved throttle response.

Just did this on my 2010 5.4 3v. What a difference. Thanks for the tip. So much less of a delay. Before this trick i felt like i had to give the pedal a little tap then stomp on it before the engine moved.

Default bad throttle

Guys please help me, somehow I left my ignition on when I went into work. Came out to a dead battery, jumped the truck, it started. It will run in idle, but will not do ANYTHING else it will run in idle but will not respond to the gas pedal AT ALL this is my daily driver and I got to get it fixed cant afford to take it in cause we're on 30 hr weeks till work picks up (after half our guys got laid off). Help is greatly appreciated and needed.

Do you guys this this would work if I had replaced the tps on my 05 4.6l? I changed the tps and cleaned throttle body a couple weeks ago. It was running prior to this but would stall. After replacing fuel and air filter. Also done tune up and oil change. It would still stall on me as I came to a stop. So I changed the tps and throttle body clean. Now it won’t even fire. Will just crank over.
