Throttle Delay???
I ran out of gas in my 2006 F150 Fx4 Scab and ever since then, I've been having a problem with my throttle. Whenever I step on the gas pedal, there is a small delay before the rpm's start going up.
Does anyone have or have had this problem, and does anyone know how to fix it?

New fuel filter, clean air filter, clean TB, and clean MAF sensor. Then once you do that get in the truck and reprogram the pedal. Turn the key to ignition but dont start then slowly press the gas to the floor and release as fast as you can, turn the key to off, repeat 2 more times for a total of 3. After you shut it off the 3rd fire it up and go have fun with your brand new truck. Makes a world of a difference. My 0-40 time turned into my 0-60 time
You'll think I'm pulling your leg with this but just do it and see if the lag is gone........put key in the ignition and turn it to the "NO" position but don't start it,let all the ding, ding, dings finish then push the pedal to the floor slowly then let go of it or let it back up, now turn the key to the "OFF" position, now do this procedure two more times.
This procedure re-sync's the pedal with the wireless/cableless throttle body.
Well I beat out Screw04.....lol
