Default throtal response problems

I have an 05 with a 5.4 and when I step on the gas, it hesitates before going. It does this all the time, any ideas? I am thinking the throtal position sensor maybe???
Thanks,

I had a 2005 and it was like that from day one. 30,000 miles later the CEL came on and the truck had no power. The wife drives it all of the time and never notices lights on the dash.Anyway I had an extended warranty and since the warranty expired on years not miles I limped it to Ford they called me a few hours laterand said the throttle body was bad. $100 later my deductible and I was running. Now here is the best part it never had the throttle response on take off as I pulled out of the dealership it smoked the 20's.It never was able to do that. also I heard back a few years ago there was a ECM flash to improve throttle response on the new drive by wire F150's...One more thing there was a bulliten about the injectors haveing issues but they would not do anything unless you had a problem...
