Default thinking about going to 37's need some input

I got a 05 singlecab with the 4.6. I want to go bigger but not sure if its a smart idea. I have a 6 inch with 35's now but i want to put a 2.5 inch spacer up front and go to 37's can this motor and axle set up handle that.

You'll need to regear if you want the truck to be useful for anything. At least 4.88's.

yeah i figured the re gear and i already have programmer, exhaust, and intake. I was just worried about the 4.6 being the problem but sounds like you guys are doing ok with it.

With the right gears any engine is fine. My buddy has a Toyota with a 4 banger and 40" boggers, he usually places in mud bogs against big V8's, and sounds like a pissed off squirrel when he does it
