Why would a crook go through the expense of renting a car, then targeting you in a parking lot, unless they already knew you, or that you haul a gun?

Seems a bit expensive of a crook to rent a car, then target a F150 (and not some other expensive type vehicle) unless they knew you were carrying goods that they wanted. They would have to know you to have that information I'd think.

That'll come if the police don't move fast enough for me...I wanna give them time and not potentially interfere. Plus, I don't wanna hurt the place's business for anyone that might live near me.

I would generally agree, but anyone that knows me and the things I have knows how security conscious I am about the expensive items and that they wouldn't be left out where they could get them. But hey, who knows... Hopefully something will come out of it.

Crap story but interesting follow through.
If your video got the plate #, than this should be pretty cut and dry for the police.
Hopefully you can throw these crooks under the bus, and back it over them a few times..

I've foiled 2 robbery attempts with pure gut instinct. Both caught red handed although 1 didn't have a chance to get started.. The lesson here is to check around, especially in a well known crime area. Your gut will tell you something's off and a weird shiver down your spine is a good indicator (at least for me). When someone around you is being hyper vigilant, the shiver down your spine is your awareness picking up on it. Sometimes it feels like the quiver you get when your genuinely creeped out or grossed out.. I know it sounds crazy, but it's absolutely true.. It might work differently for others.
