Not sure I'd tell a potential buyer that if you want to keep the price up. (But you should, so he can replace them.)

I won't use anything Dorman. On my '05 I tried the STANDARD MOTOR PRODUCTS S21001 from Rock Auto. I put about 50K no trouble miles on them before trading the truck in.

Nice. I think I am going to try the precision auto phasers sold buy freedom racing. They clame that they are equal or better then the oem brand and they also no longer stock the Dorman because of all the complaints about them. I did my best to find info on the precipient auto and cannot find any bad comment on them

Default Try ebay-- fairway ford is a good oem supplier out of ohio .

Fairway ford will take your call and work with you but shipment to Canada is another thing .
oemselect is a another good supplier on ebay , they have bulk oem parts and they did me right . I got the whole front end for $ 798 US ,all the lash adjuster and rollers for $265 US oem .Melling oil pump amazon-- 100 bucks .
I don't have a separate price for phasors . I replaced the Vct's first from fairway . But in the end the guides were bad ,tensoners gaskets bad, roller on number 8 thrown to one side inside valve cover , jumped time because of bad guides .
My phasors weren't really bad as I could see . You need to take timing cover off to see whats going on . I replaced them with the oem package but I blame the oem oil pump and tensoners the most . I put a 360 melling oil pump in there for a hundred bucks'' US . Look at the jasper engine video on the oil pumps --- you tube .
Phasors are not going to fix broken guides or bad oil pressure . Lockouts at 700 bucks are not going to fix it either . Read the final fix for the 5.4l above in the stickys .
I don't blame you for getting parts drop shipped to a friend across the border if you can find a trusting soul.
Drop your oil pan and see if plastic guides pieces in there and anything else , you can reuse oil pan gasket . If they are in there you know you have to pull timing cover . Don' t use junk parts it is too hard to get in there .
If you open her up change the guides and tensioners for sure , check timing , easy to change phasors out when shes open . If its got a lot of miles on it think about replacing lash adjusters .
Your factory oil pressure gauge is junk it just means its above 7-10 pounds that's all .
Good luck . Mine runs like a top now ,quiet as can be .

That was the old price. They're about $800 now from that seller.
