Default Thank god for E.S.P

Am now thanking god that I bought the Ford Extended Service Plan, since the rear passenger side window of my truck decided to fall off of the track for no reason. I took it to my local dealer and they said the track was broken, the motor and the regulator was fried, and it only cost me $100 to have fixed, which is nice because shop rate here is $150 and it took 2 hours to fix. The best part is they had to get me a rental car per my warranty, so I didn't have to be without a car.

Thats awesome, the Ford ESP is great if you get the right package. Glad they got you fixed up for only the price of your deductible. But did they have to order parts or something? Normally they wont put you in a rental for such an easy fix.

They had the parts on hand but they are usually slow as hell so I demanded a car, because it normally take them about 8 hours to do the works on my truck.

I'm always torn about the esp cuz when u don't use them ur out 1900 in my case. But when u need it its awesome. I've used the 2 I've bought so far. Sprung a leak in my radiator on Sunday and had them fix the shudder in the rear diff while it was in. Also found a great service dept who actually wanted my business. They even ran it through the wash before they gave it back.

My esp was worth it as well I had to have a new rear carrier put in and had the trans rebuilt 2 weeks after buying the truck and then at 107k the tranny went out completely and it payed for that as well. FX4 do you use cutter ford for the work on your truck?

I work at a dealer and I even got ESP on mine. Best part is to get pSid and work on it for a $100 deductible. Items done do far- trans front pump deal, clutch packs ( twice ) 2 horns, 2 window switches, blend door actuator. So it definetly paid for it self. Got a 4 year 48k Cor $1400. Can't complain.
