Default Tensioners

So i replace cam phasers guides tensioners and the seals behind the VCT actuators the truck is actually running smooth and quiet except for a second at start up you can here the chains slap and after it gets warm it sounds like a diesel unless you rev it up a bit and then it sounds great I am thinking I may have put the tensioners on the wrong sides would this cause this problem and would it cause them to bleed down after sitting
