Default Temp gauge/help

I have an 05 150 crew. The temp gauge has been intermitantly dropping to cold and at the same time the airconditioner stops cooling. When the gauge needle pops back to midline the air cools again. Does anyone know the cause? Bad thermostat? etc. Thanks

Electrical problem. Do you have the "auto climate control" feature?

Probably different, I don't know **** about cars.

My 98 Malibu started doing that, but in reverse. It was in the winter, the heat would go out, and the temperature would go up. Knew I was about to overheat when my heat stopped. Went through a lot of antifreeze for that month or so. Was my "intake gaskets" whatever that is.

So yeah... nothing like that's happening to you. Lunch time. Bye.
