Default tailpipe and exhaust drone

so I put a flowmaster 40 series on my truck and I like the sound but it's a little too loud with to much drone with all four cats still too. it is dumped right after the muffler so how much quieter will it be with the tailpipe is my question?

quite a bit...especially since it will be coming out behind you and not under your butt.

I have a 50 series with custom dual out the back under the bumper. Yours must really be loud inside. I got the 50 series because I tow a camper a lot.

Big difference between dumped and having the tailpipe. I had the exhaust dumped on another truck of mine. Totally regretted it, and put the tailpipe back on two days later.

On my '95 F150 single cab short box, I had the 5.0, 4.75 gears, no cats, and twin Thrush glass packs with it dumping right where the cab meets the bed, and it was ridiculous... at 55mph I could barely hear the radio, and at stop lights, if you had the rear slider open, you'd gag from the exhaust filling the cab...I was young and had a bad*** truck, but now I don't know how I tolerated it lol. I have a Flowmaster 44 cat back dual on my truck now and it sounds good, but I can hear myself think when I drive lol.
