I have been looking around on the internet for the piece of plastic that goes across the top of the rear tailgate but i cant find one, i have a 2004 f150. i lost it because the stupid thing would neve stay on even after i glued it on, any suggestions on how to hold it on?

You're the first to have posted a problem with this piece. I'm not sure how the factory applied them, but You can get a new one from your Ford parts department.

 

Get a new one and use sheet metal screws to hold it on. My clips broke on mine when I was unloading my quad, so i just used sheet metal screws.
