So I ordered an 18" red led strip for my tailgate, for ****s and giggles, but when i received it, i decided i wanted to do the whole tailgate, so me, not thinking ordered 2 more 18" strips and figure id throw em all together. Now i was thinking, simply because i seen this on another truck a few weeks back. Could i not hook the outer 2 light bars to the turn signals AND the brakes? While the middle just to brakes. With the outcome of when i signal, would the turn signal take priority over the brake light and flash and not be solid red? or would it just be solid red?

 

you can do anything...with resistors, relays, and the proper wiring diagrams...
