How the heck do u get the ford emblem on the tailgate off

It's only held on with two sided tape. You have to just pry it off while trying not to mess up your paint.

if the emblem has the OEM reverse camera, then there will be a hole for the wiring. if not, then it should just be double sided tape. What you can do if there is no backup camera is heat the emblem up with a heat gun (if you have one) and then take some dental floss and slide it between the emblem and the steel. if the emblem is heated enough, the dental floss should help get it off with minimal tape left on the truck itself.

Don't pry it! Use heat and fishing line to saw through the tape under the emblem. The fishing line won't go all the way through because the emblem has 2 alignment studs on the back so saw as much as you can and it should pull off.

Go easy on the heat, the paint should be fine. I used a hair dryer on mine. You just need enough heat to soften up the tape. I think a hot day in the sun would be enough.
