Default Tail Lights not working. Please Help

Guys the turn signals and brake lights have quit working recently only as soon as soon the automatic headlights come on. We have replaced the turn signal lever, and the flasher relay, replaced all the fuses and bulbs. They work fine until the it gets dark and the automatics come on. Any suggestions on what to look for or what else to replace. Thanks in advance

I've seen this happen before. It's usually a bad ground or bad taillight sockets.

They traced the wiring from the front to back and didnt see anything, could the headlight switch have anything to do with it either?

I wouldn't think the headlight switch would have anything to do with the brake lights or signals. But I'm not 100% sure.

I'd check the fuse in the passenger-side kick panel. I think it's #13, which is a 20A fuse.

If they work as they should using the manual switch, but quit when using the automatic switch, I'd have to say the problem is in the automatic side. Meaning the section that is not in common with the manual side. Think of it as a 'Y', where the light switch is the common point that allows power to travel to the lights. One leg of the 'Y' is the manual side, one leg the automatic. If the automatic side has a faulty ground, the lights will not work.

Okay guys. When the lights are on the turn signals will both blink when you hit it one direction, like the hazards are on. When you hit the brakes, it will seem like it shorts out the lights as they wont blink anymore, but as soon as i release the brake pedal, it goes back to the blinking both again. Where to start looking at now.
