Tail Light Tinting Method??????
So have been doing a lot of research on this as I want to do it right and not mess anything up. I have searched and looked at a lot of "how to" posts by a lot of people but it seems everyone has different methods.
Does anyone have a specific post or set of instructions that worked for them?
Thanks for any help and I hope to tackle this very soon.

0) Buy all supplies (VHT Niteshade, sandpaper (1000 and 2000 wet), newspapers if you don't have any), your choice of gloss clear coat.
1) Remove tail lights
2) Spread out news paper on a surface, preferably outside / vented. This stuff stinks!
3) Clean tail lights with mild soap and warm water, let air dry or use lint free microfiber towels
4) (optional, I skipped this step myself) Lightly wet sand lenses, rinse off lens and dry.
5) Lightly apply the first coast of VHT, be careful to keep your distance from the lens even and "dust" the paint on. Better to do 3 light coats than one giant one, optional to sand in between coats (I didn't on the first two, but did between 2 and 3).
6) Lightly wet sand with 1000 grit on final coat, rinse and dry.
7) Apply clear coat, in same fashion as VHT. Wet sand in between each coat with 2000 grit.
8) Buffing is optional, but recommended.
Honestly bud, unless you rush through it, it is really hard to mess it up.
