Default Tail /Brake Light problems

As an auto mechanic I come across all sorts of strange problems that can sometimes drive people or inexperianced repair shops nuts.So I like to photograph any F150 related stuff to share on here. This is a repair I did on a 06 XLT supercab for the passenger brake light not working.odviously check bulbs and fuses first but if thats not it and the bulb sockets look good, try looking under the drivers door on the frame rail. There is a black plastic cover that likes to hold salt and water with your rear wiring harness in it. This may be helpful to any of the items in the rear of the truck. Fuel pump,Evap,Lights,Fuel gauge,Trailer ect ect. I know some of you would like to see a new harness in place but if you call the dealer and find out how much one is Ill bet you will fix it the same way. I just cut off the plugs and used waterproof butt connectors.
