have been wanting to do this mod for a while, but never got around to it. Before this I had my switches under my dash and I had to bend down to get them. I simply dismantled my ash tray and took the front face plate off of it. Drilled holes and ran wires. I am thrilled with the results. They light up too. Blue, green, red, green, blue. KC lights, inverter, A/C Efan, ?, Strobe lights. I used double sided tape for a spacer. And velcro to attatch it that way I can remove it to access everything from behind.

I will have to get a pic of behind my dash one day. It looks like a wire monster threw up, lol.

Lol thanks. They buttons look uneven. But they are. Lol. I think it is just an optical allusion. Cause they are measured perfectly. Edge-1.5 inches-switch-1.5 inches-switch-1.5 inches-switch-1.5 inches-switch-1.5 inches-Edge.

 

whats the inverter for and how much does it cost?

 

It is so I can power stuff, lol. Until I can figure out a way to mount power plugs there are just ports ran to power my digital tv converter and powered anttena to get over the air tv.
