Swaping a blown 07 4.6 triton
What engines are compatible with my truck, the engine started making expensive noises after driving it with a misfire for months, I intended to get it fixed but I'm assuming it threw rods and don't know if I should swap the engine or try to have it fixed. I have money for a used engine but idk who to have swap the engines or how much. Planning on selling my truck but would like to fix it and idk what would work better.

Swap or rebuild choice depends on damage to the engine and the damage you can take to the wallet.
How much this will cost and who does swaps? You need to pick up the phone and start asking. Not every garage will do heavy stuff like swaps, but will be swell enough to refer you to another that does.
