Default Suspension

Are the F150 & the expedition share the same chassis?
I ask because I was wondering if it is possible to convert the F150 Rea suspension to the Expeditions IRS.
I know the pros and cons of Soled Axel vs. Independent. I was just wondering?

i don't have a clue how you would even go about this but im sure it would take more time than it's worth, why do you want to do it?

I was just a thought rushed in my mind.
I now that the Mustang Cobra IRS fits the 1986-2003 Mustang with miner modification, because the 1986-1993 and the 1994-2004 basically is the same chassis.
