My truck had an exhaust leak when I brought it and I was wondering is that the gasket? looks like it got pushed over or looks like it is in wrong?

Looks like you definitely have the manifold leak. Gasket is probably a tab for handling at the factory. Manifold leaks are common on these trucks.
