I've had single in/ dual out Flowmaster 40, SI/DO flowmaster super 10, and now I run true duals No Muffler, and no muffler by far sounds the best. So I suggest the Y pipe.

You don't think that it crackles or pops too much coming down off high rpms? Any difference performance wise

Well true duals crackle a lot, but I think it sounds good and loud. A y pipe will have less pop

I've got true dual straight pipes as well. And i love the sound but right now I don't have a y pipe installed that's my next step.

With mine it feels like I've lost lower rpm hp and tq but it's all been added at the top end. You defenitly feel it when your passing a car on the highway.
