stupid question

Default stupid question

I have an 05 4x4 screw i want to go bigger with tires I cant afford all 4 i have 275 70 18 on it now could i run 295 70 18 on front or rear as long as I dont engage 4 wheel drive?

You would need a leveling kit but I run 295's just fine

I'm not sure about the answer, but I would say unless you absolutely need two new tires I would save up and wait a little longer. If you need two new right now then hopefully someone comes along and answers it for you. good luck

Anyone know? and just to clarify i need tires I would have 275 70 18 on 1 axle and 295 70 18 on the other axle

The 295's would have to go on the rear axle, your speedo will be off, you will never be able to engage 4x4, and it will look pretty dumb as far as I'm concerned. But yes, it is possible to do that.

agreed but i need tires now so it would be for a short time until I could get the other 295 s I might even try to find 2 good used 295s
