stupid question

I recently bought an 08 Fx2 and was wondering that since I don't ever plan on using the cigarette lighter, is there some cap that someone sells to cover it up? Maybe some kind of a 12v cap.

You could find any old beater with the little cap on the accessory port and just neatly clip off the retainer strap. My work Tahoe must have 4 or 5 of those little blank 12v covers.

I've seen caps you are looking for in rental cars. Since most (if not all) rental cars do not allow smoking in them, they place a plastic cap into the cigarette lighter socket.

I was at AUTOZONE the other day and they had a nice glowing blue skull that plugged in to make the cab glow blue..... I use mine to charge my cell phone... my wife uses the acc plug in.

Yeah, but I just want a 12v cap like on the other side.

go to wrecking yard and get on off a junk truck... or hit the dealer and install a 12 plug and cap like the otherside has, take the cig lighter out.... easy to get to.
