Default Stuck in park

06 Ford F150 stuck in park. Changed brake switch today after not having any brake lights (all 3) and unable to engage column shifter. Checked all fuses and all are good. Have no idea what this could be. Help! Thanks!

provide more info: do your brake lights work now? have you checked grounds under kick panels in cab?

there is a shifter override that you can stick a small dowel or metal rod into (under column) to release shifter (until you get it fixed).

Still no brake lights. I fixed the grounds a while back on the kick panels. I have tried the manual override but it seem to work.

Default Fixed!

So… My issue was there’s a black bushing that goes on the stem of the brake booster that if it isn’t properly seated in place the brake switch won’t activate the brakes. I sanded the inside diameter of the black bushing and hooked everything back up and now everything is working as it should.
