Stuck In Park
I know this problem is old hat, but I can't find a similar question posted, so here goes...
My solenoid that allows the console shift lever to move out of park is failing intermittently. I've been trying to google the part and replace it, but I can't find it. After disassembling the console, I wonder if that part is even a replaceable one. The manual release toggle is housed in a plastic snap-open box that contains a bare solenoid and a white plastic release. Not looking like an over the counter part.
Can anyone give me some advise about replacing the part?
