Has anyone tried Moog heavy duty springs vs standard rate springs? Replacing my front coils but im unsure which to go with. 07 XLT. I understand heavy duty are a little more difficult to install bc they are thicker but hows the ride quality?

 

Unless you have the HD payload or one of those super heavy custom front numbers, just get the standard rate springs.

 

I have them on an 07. I bought Rancho quick lift that I got cheap. and changed the springs to the moog hd springs. Real pain. The coils are to thick for most spring compressors. I had to use cheap ones that were bending. It was a pain but I got it done and did not die.

I am real happy with the setup, 35 bfg ko on raptor wheels works good.Carry a western midweight plow for my driveway. The nice thing about the western is the removable shoes on the push plates that don't hang down when the plow is off. The truck goes down the road great with this setup.
