Default strut tower bolts

Hey all, new to the site and came hear looking for advise.I have an 06 lariat, two months ago I took my truck to a local shop to have control arms, ball joints, and tie rod ends done. Tonight I noticed the 3 nuts for the strut tower bolts weren't tight at all, almost to top of threads. It's this something that was dangerous? I got them tight, but just pissed I found this on Christmas eve and been driving around with wife and 3 kids. Idk what to say to the shop but just curious how dangerous this has been to drive on. Any opinions?

Obviously its best to have them all the way tight, most likely the shop was in a hurry and overlooked them. The strut is in there pretty good, especially with the vehicle on the ground and the suspension compressed a bit. Its not just going to fall out, but it might if the suspension travels up and down quickly and a considerable distance (offroad)

You should definitely go back to the shop and let them know,
I'd also advise that you get them to go over every bolt and retorque it to spec.
With all that work that you had done im surprised the three bolts werent noticed during the alignment... serious stuff.. someone was a sleep on the job

I can't believe it didn't make a terrible racket when you were driving around.

Thanks for your answers! Im gonna call them tomorrow and have them re check all the bolts and i think i want them to do another alignment. Im surprised also that it didnt make any noise and that they didnt notice it when they aligned it. Just glad it didnt mess anything up. Thanks again! Merry Christmas!
