Default Strut recommendation

I have a 2004 F150 87k, new tires about 8 months ago..and it drives pretty shakey now, ..I usually drive with one hand because that's how smooth it used to be..I am a bit confused a mechanic I know drove my truck and said it might be my tires, they can be warped he said, he also said despite my miles I should still be ok..so give me some tips/suggestions..as always thank you all for your time and expertise.

Have the rear tires rotated to the front. If you still have the vibration, it is something other than the tires. If it goes away, the problem is one of the tires you rotated to the back. Take it back to the tire shop and have them do the rotation after you tell them the problem.

Yea I would start by rotating them too, sounds like you might be out of balance. Did they torque the lug nuts?

If you're looking for struts I would suggest Bilstein 5100's, they improved the ride quality on my truck!

Ok fellas, thank you for your input, I did follow your suggestions and had my tires rotated..everything was ok. Took it on the freeway and it still drives shaky, unstable. So in terms of wear & tare is it consistent with my mileage?..I mostly drive city, thanks again to this board and to you guys for your help and advice.

Have the front end checked out too. I had a vibration on a car and it was worn steering linkage.

Yeah. Check your ball joints and tie rod ends.
