Strobes Anyone?
Here is where I put the ones in my headlights on my 04 SuperCab.

I wish I had moved them a little closer toowards the back of the housing, but they light up rather well here. You just need to make sure the bottom of the strobe tube will clear the sheet metal for the body.
The rear HAW strobes on mine are in the reverse lights. I removed the tailight housing and installed the tube on the side that faces the bed. Once again, just need to make sure the bottom of the strobe tube will clear the rolled edge on the body sheet metal.
Just finished installing all of my emergency equipment in my truck a week or so ago.....

I put mine in my fog lights, don't know if there is any better just see,med to go better there and you ca turn the fogs off and see the strobe better at night than with them in the headlights with the lights on
I was going to put mine in the larger foglights that come on the 04 Lariats, but that seemed too low to the ground for me.
There is a common misconcpetion regarding corner strobes. In most cases, they are to light up the brightest to the corners and sides, most places where the older lightbars etc didn't throw enough light. Now, keep in mind this is back in the timeframe before LED lighting and all of the computer aided design optics for emergency lighting back in the day.
I remember back when the corner strobe kits came out years ago, they were 700 or 800 dollars or higher, and now you can get name brand strobe kits for around 200.00...
