Strange Knocking Noise
I have this strange Knocking Noise comming from the HVAC system.
It comes and goes, everytime I tryed to show it to the dealership the noise would not happen.
Its a light knocking sound about 3X per second.
Its stops as soon as I turn off the HVAC system.
It happens with the engine running or off... So its not an engine knock.
Anybody have any ideas? Anybody else have this issue?
I have a 2007 STX regular cab. Standard HVAC system with AC.

Mine is at the dealer for a knocking noise. I have the 5.4L 3V EFI with 71K miles. Service manager called & said $1800 to fix it, Bad phaser, cam rocker & follower in cylinder 3. Anybody else have this same problem?
