Defiantly the plugs same thing was happening to me when I would floor it it would shoot up to 3 k then stall out till 4 and then she was gone also on mine it would pop and misfire when you just start it up at wot but when it was warm it didn't do it as bad so I would get the motor craft plugs and see how that works for ya!
