Default strait pipe?

Anyone on here remove there stock mufler and just replace it with a pipe. Cats still in place. Have any issues as far as back pressure, back fire? And how does it sound?

I have mine 3 inch aluminized steel exiting in front of the rear tire. It sounds pretty good and is definitely cheap. I would reccomend it to anyone. It doesn't backfire unless you redline it and then let off the gas and I doubt any of us do that on a regular basis anyways haha

I have Roush off-road rear exit exhaust with deleted cats and it's LOUD. I'm not kidding when I say it sounds like a monster truck with open headers. I cut my cats out Friday and I might put em back in this week.
