Storing bed extender?

Storing bed extender?
How do you guys store your bed extender when it's not being used? Does it fit somehow in the front of the box, or do you just take it out? I just bought an 07 FX4 and am just starting to figure everything out.
I let somebody stored it for me .She even give me 150$ .so she can use it anytime she wanted. LOl

Mine folds forward and I close and lock the tailgate. No storage needed and without opening the tailgate, you can't steal it. It if needed to take it out, i would put it under my workbench on the garage.
