Stock Ford PowerCode Alarm???

Stock Ford PowerCode Alarm???
When I bought my '06 F150 it came with a PowerCode alarm system. Used it of course, but never experienced any issues until lately.
In the last 3 months, any vehicle that drives by sets it off. Heck it even went off sitting in the garage when nothing possibly could have caused it to go off. So I've been using the Ford provided manual to try and adjust the sensitivity, but haven't had much luck. Now last night when trying to adjust it, something must have gone wrong, cause now it doesn't arm. Well, it does arm (without any alarm), but only after I put the key in the ignition. Basically I am unable to turn the engine over, unless I press the override button on the bottom of the dash first. Boy was I about to ****e my pants last night when we went to take the kids to the pool.
Now I have tried calling the 800-FORD-KEY number provided, but that is a joke. Got me a list of all possible model #'s for Ford alarms, but I can't locate the model # on any of the installed equipment. Any idea's where to look? After I can locate the model #, I can request a installation and owners manual, which hopefully will help me determine the problem and how to fix it.
My only other option, since the truck is still under the 3yr/36K warranty until December, is to take it in to the dealer. Which I'd prefer to do it myself, just in case this happens again outside the warranty period.
Any ideas where I can locate the model # of the CodeAlarm PowerCode system I have? Thanks in advance!

Your number is on the black box located on the drivers side close to the headlight switch. If you follow the spliced wires to it you will find it. If you find the number I maybe able to email you a manual as I have several saved.

Thanks! I'll check tonight and will let you know. I looked at the module under the dash, as well as the black box I think you're referring to under the hood, but couldn't find any # that matched the document provided by the 800-FORD-KEY number.
