Default Stock cd player

So I got screwed on eBay and got sold a ****ty cdplayer. Is it possible to just buy the cd mechanics? Or does anyone know of an online salvage yard?

What are you after? I got a stocker that was pulled at 24k. No idea what they are worth.

I got ripped off on eBay and the cd player itself doesn't work. So I want to either switch the guts of it, or get a new one

Get your money back on your original ebay purchase. There should be several ways to do this, paypall, credit card charge back, complaining to ebay. If for some reason you're stuck with it, you can sell it for parts. A lot of the OEM headunits start flaking paint from the buttons and someone may want to swap faceplates.

LKQ is a large scrap yard that sells tons of stuff on ebay.

Great points! I see Ebay advertises buyer protection. Have you contacted them (yet)? Did you pay with PayPal? Contect them (yet)?

Go after getting your money back first. I've seen these stock units for sale here on the classifieds for anywhere from 30 bucks up to about 60 bucks, and the higher end procing is for the 6 cd changer.

I have contacted the seller, but no hopes yet. I am going to wait a few days to hear back. If not I am going to contact buyer protection.

I send the seller an email, but I always file a dispute to PayPal on the same day. I let them (PayPal) do the contacting for me. I've only had to do this twice. In one case, the seller refunded me within 30 days of the dispute; the other, I was refunded by paypal, so I do not know if they (paypal) got their money from the seller.

The sooner you file a dispute with paypal, the sooner you get your money. This seller had to know this radio/CD was not working; if you do not hear from them within 24 hours, the odds are high you won't.

Thanks! I guess I'll get on it today after work! I went to lkq and they have a lot at a reasonable price! Thanks again.
