I replaced my kenwood deck with a Pioneer DVD double din, wired it up easily using the same metra harness. Everything was working great for 2 weeks. All a sudden this week, no sound coming out of all the door speakers but just boom from the sub, sub is running off a amp. I was using the stereo power to run the doors speakers.

Here's the weird thing, took a separate speaker and tried all the outputs on the deck and all work!??? Not sure why when I plug in the harness I get nothing but sub. I even bought a new wiring harness and same issue...

Someone help me out please.

Sounds like one of your door speakers is grounding out or is blown causing the internal amp to shut off before it burns out.

I pulled all the speakers and tested them, all work fine. I think theres something wrong with the factory wiring somewhere and I don't even know where to start trouble shooting. I ended up just re-wiring and running all new speaker wires from each door.

Could one of your wires have gotten caught in the window mechanism?

I tried everything, it's just too much to try and guess where the issue is. After 3 days of no radio I said forget it and just ran new speaker wires.
