i have a 06 f150 lariat and all the sudden when i turn off the engine the stereo stays on. also, maybe coincidence, the auto headlights do not work, the fof lights come on but no headlights, they work fine in manual on but not in auto, also auto door locks do not work. ckecked fuse and is fine.

sounds like there could be a short somewhere

the stereo thing is normal. dont know why its "all of a sudden" but on new cars, the radio stays on after you shut the car off until you open the door

that's the way it did work but now it stays on constantly!

I have a 2004 F-150 XLT and we are just beginning to have the same issues, the radio stays on after engine is shut-off & drivers door is opened. Tried re-starting, open/close the door ...etc. Any body have any ideas?

Hey Yall from Mississippi I just bought my first Ford F-150 xlt Lariat FX4 Super Crew .. Its a 2003 .. Wonder if the in dash CD6 stereo will play MP3 format ..I havent made any MP3 disc yet.. I also wonder how hooking up a amp to power one sub would sound ??

Well it wont play MP3 I have a real nice Pioneer system in my other Ford But its not a big size like the newer on So Time to make 6 regular CD's..

Also I guess I am going to give up on the amps and stuff ... Time for me to grow up and act my age...
