Exclamation Steering wheel swap went wrong, HELP!

Hey all,

Ive done this before, so when I had a hell of a time pulling the steering wheel off my father's 05, and stripping the threads on the steering column/spline, well feel like a jack*ss.

I managed to torque the original bolt in there, but now I know I need some pro's help to fix this.

What do y'all suggest?

Thanks

Well if you got the nut back on there and torqued properly I would leave it. What was the reasoning for the removal? Otherwise you are looking at a column replacement.

Damn, a whole column? The steering wheel leather needs replacing, it is 8 years old after all.

re-tap the threads and install a new bolt
