Default steering wheel

hey everybody. my steering wheel sits to the right when i am driving straight maybe half an inch. i know that this is a common thing as i know that there are many vehicles that do this. i was just wondering if there was any wa to fix this...maybe taking the steering wheel off and adjusting it on the steering column? input would be great

Get an alignment and demand that they point the wheel STRAIGHT when aligning the vehicle. Drive the vehicle and if it isn't straight take it back. A lot of time the wheel comes out of straight because the tech is too lazy to adjust both sides of the vehicle equally, instead he just makes all the adjustments on one side, thus making the steering wheel out of center. How are the air pressures in your tires, etc etc.

My tire pressure is fine..recommended 35psi and at first i thought that it was maybe wear in the front tires but i doubt it would pull the steering wheel and the truck doesn't pull the the right. my second thought was to get the tires aligned but just needed to be sure. Makes more sense than to start messing with the steering wheel itself. thanks

i found out many years ago that finding a alignment person that does a Ford correctly is a rarity. Like stated above, most are too lazy to get everything straight.
