hey fom, how did you get the steering wheel lights changed? was it hard?

took about 30 min forhe steering wheel lights. Here's pics of the radio as it was being done. Finished wit the blue display lens I made at home.

do you just pop the switches off in the steering wheel? what kind of led do you use for the wheel and like headlight *****? not 74 right? do you have to solder?

Wow. That's pretty wicked. When I get my Cobra and if I come visit my folks in Richmond this summer, I might swing by and get all blue put in. :-)

It's the lil touches that are nice and that's a wicked nice touch. Good job man

Default steering wheel LED's

To get to the wheel LED's you have to take off the airbag, unplug the connections, then easily...but firmly pull stright out on the outside of the button housing, and push in on the clips on the inside of the airbag well. The switch comes apart in peices, light panel(bottom) rubber contact panel(plasctic switch housing (watch out for the lil white button control spacers that slide inside the housing to keep the buttons tight and keeps from button rattle) (I had to make one cause it flew when the right switch came apart.) PM me for info about swaps. I'm ready to work with ya!

well you pm me the info on the switches, panel and other things. Also where you got the bulbs from. I am not worried about radio as my aftermarket headunit has a blue setting on it. thanks

I have... even earned a players club card while I was there... 1 block off the strip... went with the NAVY.... was up 1800 within 3 hrs of being in my hotel
