Default Steering rack adjustemnt
Is there a way to adjust the racks in the 04-08 f150 like the older steering boxes had, my 04 has a much looser steering feeling than my uncles 05 does same mileage on both trucks

No there's no adjustment available on the steering gear. Check for play in your steering shaft, specifically the lower one.
