Default Steering problem 2005 fx4

I have a 2005 fx4 and recently I noticed that every time I turn to the left at medium speed I hear a clinking noise. It’s only to the left and doesn’t occur if it is at a faster speed

I think your gonna have to be more descriptive in order to get some valid feedback.

I can tell u 10 things to check based on the info provided. If u can be more detailed, I'm sure we can narrow it down for ya.

when I turn the wheel to the left going around 10 mph you can hear a loud clunking/ clicking sound. You can also feel the vibrations in the steering wheel. It feels like the vibrations are coming from both sides of the front axel but that could be completely wrong. I’ve looked under the truck to see if there’s any damage but all I could see was scratches on the skid plate from a few rocks. It only happens when I turn left. I was worried that I did something when I went on a trail but I can’t see any apparent damage.

Having a 2007 4x4 that had that exact issue - would bet it is ball joints.

Check for a rock or branch caught in the brake shield or rotor area since you were off road recently.
