Default steering issues

I have a 06 F150 stx, 4.6l. I bought the truck used and after six months I noticed that the steering seemed to "float" a little. Mechanic found that there was a leveling kit on the suspension and in turn had worn out the ball joints. To shorten the story, I had a Rough country 6" lift done and also found along the way the rack and pinion was bad (fell apart when they unbolted it). The whole steering assembly has been replaced by now except for shocks. My question is, when I get an alignment done it seems to last only a few days then it's out of wack a little bit, also if I turn the wheels all the way to the left or right until it stops then the steering wheel is not centered anymore and is roughly at a 2 o'clock position. Any ideas on these issues?? Any help would be great!
