Default starting problem 2004 5.4

Engine turns over but wont start Had a message to check instruments. I disconnected the battery and ran a code scanner, found nothing.Please help before I go to the stealer.Thanks Greg.

Default I think, and it just might be me...

but you should haver ran the code scanner prior to disconnecting the batterey. That, as I understand it, clears the codes.

What if there is bad gas? Low fuel light was on. Should there be a way to get it started ,still no codes.Thanks Greg.

Talking Dumb question...but...

Did you check the fuel pump trip? See if you can reset it. I don't know why it would be tripped, maybe you hit a bump, hard, but it is free to check and it will allow the truck to turn over nad not start. Who knows, it is a free check, and I don't know if it will give you a code with no fuel pressure.
