Default Starter Dragging?

Last week I got into go to work and battery was dead. Left moon roof open and must have left my key on. Jumped it off and runs fine. Since then when I start my truck the starter tends to drag like its a dead battery, then it will spin right on over and crank. Looked under truck today and did not notice any corrosion on the wires but did not remove them. Any ideas before I pull the starter and replace it? Thanks

Also noticed when I start my truck the gauges are all bottomed out and kind of jumpy. Then 4-5 sec they go to normal??

Apparently not! Tested battery this morning after getting to work and it was weak, 10 volts. Truck struggled to start this am before coming to work. Napa has one on the way so we will see.
