Default Stabilizer end link trouble

Ok guys, i changed out my lower ball joint and tierod ends the other day. This morning was time for the Stabilizer end links. I soak everything down with pb blaster and driver side 14mm top nut just spins. Went over to the other side and no problem with it coming off. Whats the easiest way to remove?
Also, you are suppose to hold the 18mm lower nut with a wrench and turn the 8mm spindle clockwise or counter clockwise when looking straight up. That sucker is tight too. Thanks guys

There should be a raised area on the stem that is formed as a hex. Use an open end wrench to keep it from turning when removing the top nut. I believe the raised hex is just above the lower ball socket.

Ok here's the setup. The top nut abou the washer is just spinning. I'll put a jack under the A arm and apply some pressure but if that doesn't work do i have the spindle off?
Also, on the bottom u der the A arm, do i hold the 8mm hex and turns the 18mm nut or is it the other way around? What direction do i turn?

Default hold the shafts with the provided flat spots

Turn the nuts counterclockwise , There is no secret these are not left hand threads or anything like it . Its a normal bolt and nut . Lefty loosie righty tighty . If you can't figure it out put a normal bolt along side of it and hand turn the nut on it till you get it in your mind We all get screwed up sometimes .
