squeaky window

Default squeaky window

I finally got all my power windows working after replacing the regulator on the passenger side front window and master switch panel on the driver's side. Now I have a squeak on the driver side rear window. Any suggestions of how to silence this annoying squeak? The truck is a 2006 SCREW 5.4L 4x4 with 123,000 miles.

You could take the door panel off and spray silicone on the cable and pulleys. It isn't your window track contrary to belief. But even spraying it won't do much. I guess you could try Vaseline on the cable. But these pulleys and cables wear out over time. My rear squeaks again after I sprayed it last year.

Thanks for the reply. I'm thinking of using graphite on the said mentioned components. I did think it might be the window track. thanks for the heads up on that.
