Default The squeak

I have a 5.4l 3v 06' F150 XLT SCAB with just over 26k miles and it has started to make this annoying squeaking sound (sounds like its the front left) and I'm lost as to what it is so if any of you could that that would be greatly appreciated.

I know you said it sounded like the squeak was coming from the front left but I had the exact noise on my 07' Screw and it ended up being the tailgate of all things. A little silicone lube on the hinges and rubber pieces took care of it. It's worth looking into, drove me crazy for weeks until one day I was standing behind the truck waiting for my wife to get out and when she closed the passenger side door the tailgate made the squeak that I had been trying to find. I thought it was coming from the front end as well seeing how I had just put on a leveling kit! Hopes this helps...

I had something similar come from the safety rings on my tonneau ; it was scraping against the cabin. just replaced it with a smaller 'keychain' and it fixed it.

Thanks, I'm hoping it's something simple like that but I'll check on it tomorrow morning. It also does it when on smoother roads than the one in the video and at pretty much any speed but I had just happen to video it at it's worst.

Mine was the tailgate also. If you have a rear sliding window, open it up and if its coming from the back you'll be able to tell!

Well I just checked the tailgate and tonneau cover but no luck. I cleaned the grease off of the bushings and they look brand new and greased it up again. I even drove with the tailgate off and the squeak was still there but I still think it's up front. Thanks for the replies though.

well, does it sound like its coming from outside or inside, because in your video im assuming the window is closed.. it almost sounds like interior panels rubbing..
