My father growed up down there and I still have family that live in that area. The origninal home place of my Grandfathers had 500 acres and 2 lakes which the family calls ponds(there's where i got the idea to kid you). My father come north many years ago for work.
Castleberry used to be strawberry country and my family had a big business with it back in the early 1900's.
I have 2 cousins that now own the land of the old home place....some how I missed out getting a piece of it.

There is some gorgeous country around here and you can truely see all different types of it. A buddy of mines dad has 5,000 acres of land in Dallas county and me and another guy were walking a good bit of it hunting hogs and one moment we were in a swamp, the other in hardwoods, and the next in cedar trees like we were in Texas. I love it.

Yea I love that part of the country but just haen't been down there in about 5 years....got to just get up and go one of these days.
My fondest memory was learning how to drive in one of the pastures on the old home place.

By the way your truck looks great...you take good care of it.

BTW I'll be down in Monroe later this week. That's somewhat near the area you were talking about.

Let me know if you ever come down this way. I hate thinking about memories like that because it's sad seeing how things were and how your life can change so much.

Thanks man, I try and take good care of it, a little obsessed I guess.

If I had fog lights I strip the 35 off and get 20.

Thanks for the compliments.
