I havnt checked to see how much the odometer is off but I did check my speed with the gps and it seems to be dead on were before with stock tires my speedo read a little faster than I was goin by the gps. So someone plz help?? I'm stupid when it comes to math and numbers.
Most programers [Hypertech etc.] use tire diameter in inches to callibrate for tire size. if your speedo is right on then your oddo should be also they are calibrated together. go to hypertech web site and download thier max energy inst manual it explains in verry easy to understand language how to get a true rolling diameter of your tires, the numbers have to be enterd into the computer ether by a dealer or useing an after mkt. programer. None the less, glad you got it figured out, if you need to tune it any to get the speed dead on do a search for my posts (or let me know and I'll dig it up), I've posted a couple times the procedure for fine tuning the number by using a gps and your odometer to help get it exact.

I cleaned up this thread, due to a couple members using it to trash each other. This forum does not allow this. This is a tecnical forum, and used to post questions and answers to to such questions. If you wish to trash talk each other, use the PM function.

If it continues, you may be getting some time off. We do not want that.

Thank you. I did not ask for his remarks so there for I don't want to hear them. I asked simple question (well simple for some pep but not me) and got smart remarks for which I did not ask for. Makes you wonder who's here to help you and who's here to BS with you. If you wanna BS with someone take it to the "off topic" section the way I see it, because I thought this part was for HELP and answers. But thank you to all who DID help or tried to help I have now got it figured out and fixed thanks to someone on power hungry forum. Bucko you can close the thread if you think it needs to be so someone else doesn't spurt off.
